Done and Hard Scrabble Mountain Trail Run

A fleet of Done trucks parked

The Hard Scrabble Mountain Trail Run is a series of races that take place in Westcliffe, CO at Bear Basin Ranch. These races include a 5K, 10K, and an additional 45K ultramarathon, set to take place on June 1st, 2014 for the second year in a row. This run is produced by the San Isabel Land Protection Trust, whose mission is to protect agriculture, water resources, and wildlife habitats in our region. As one of the largest events of the year, all proceeds will go towards San Isabel.

In addition to the races, Bear Basin Ranch has many other activities that racers can be apart of. For example, the ranch offers horse back riding, hiking and much more. It allows everyone to get a glimpse of the beautiful land in Colorado that they are actively preserving.

This past November, Done Plumbing, Heating, Cooling, and Electric joined this cause by becoming a sponsor for the 2014 race. The San Isabel Land Protection Trust has protected almost 40,000 acres of private lands and critical water resources in Colorado and we are proud to be apart of this great achievement.
