Every dog deserves a warm home.

Done loves dogs. That's why we're partnering with Humane Colorado, an organization that works every day to match rescue animals with the families who need them.

We spend our days making Colorado homes comfortable. Helping a few more of those homes include a rescue dog felt like the best kind of work. So when you open your door to a dog who needs one, we'll make sure your furnace is ready for the cold, on us.

A full tune-up, not a quick once-over.

Pets spend more time at home than anyone, and their hair and dander load up furnace filters fast. Here's what a licensed Done HVAC technician checks on your visit.

    Checked for cracks that can let combustion gases into your air.

  • Carbon monoxide & combustion check

    Combustion and venting verified so the whole household breathes easy.

  • Burner cleaning

    Burners cleaned and the flame pattern inspected for safe, efficient heat.

  • Ignition & safety switches

    Igniter, flame sensor, limit and pressure switches tested.

  • Blower cleaning & motor check

    Dust and pet hair cleared from the blower wheel; motor draw checked.

  • Filter & thermostat

    Filter checked and thermostat calibrated so you only heat what you need.

Who qualifies for the free furnace tune-up?
Any homeowner in Done's Colorado service area who adopts a rescue dog. Bring your new best friend home, then fill out the form on this page or call Done, and we'll schedule your free furnace tune-up & safety check.
Do I have to adopt from Humane Colorado?
Humane Colorado is our partner and a wonderful place to meet your next dog, but any rescue dog counts. Just tell us the shelter or rescue you adopted from when you claim your tune-up.
Do I have to share my dog's photo to get the tune-up?
No. Sharing is completely optional, and your free tune-up doesn't depend on it. If you do give us permission, we may feature your dog's photo, name and story on our website and social media, showing only your first name. Change your mind any time by emailing [email protected].
What's included in the furnace tune-up & safety check?
A licensed Done HVAC technician inspects the heat exchanger, checks combustion and carbon monoxide levels, cleans the burners, tests the igniter, flame sensor and safety switches, cleans the blower and checks the motor, and looks at your filter and thermostat. It's the same visit as our standard furnace maintenance.
What if the technician finds a problem?
They'll show you what they found, explain your options and give you upfront pricing before any work begins. Repairs aren't part of the free tune-up, and there's never any pressure to say yes on the spot.
