The Whole Picture Underground

Sewer Services That Go Beyond the Symptom

A slow drain or sewage smell in your yard is rarely just a nuisance — it’s your sewer line telling you something is wrong. Done’s licensed plumbers use camera inspection technology to see exactly what’s happening inside your pipes before recommending any repair. That means no guesswork, no unnecessary digging, and no surprises on your invoice. Learn more about our full range of drain and sewer services.

Whether your line has a root intrusion, a bellied section, a crack, or it simply needs replacement after decades of service, we have the tools and the experience to fix it right. We serve the entire Denver metro and have been licensed in Colorado since 1999. We will walk you through every finding and every option before any work begins.

  • Video Camera Inspection We send a high-definition camera down your sewer line to pinpoint the exact location and cause of the problem — roots, cracks, grease buildup, or pipe collapse — before any repair begins.
  • Master-Licensed Plumbers Every sewer job is performed by or under the direct supervision of a master-licensed plumber. You get professional workmanship backed by Done's quality guarantee.
  • Upfront Pricing After the camera inspection, you receive a clear written estimate before we start. No hourly billing surprises — just a straightforward price you approve in advance.

Warning Signs

Signs Your Sewer Line Needs Attention

Sewer problems rarely announce themselves loudly at first. Here are four signs Denver homeowners should never ignore.

  • Wet or Sunken Spots in the Yard

A soggy patch of grass or a low spot in your yard that wasn't there before can mean a broken sewer line is leaking underground. Left alone, it can undermine your foundation and contaminate soil.

  • Persistent Sewage Odor

If you smell sewer gas inside your home or near your yard, a cracked or open pipe may be venting into places it shouldn't. This is a health concern that warrants immediate inspection.

  • Multiple Slow or Backed-Up Drains

When more than one fixture drains slowly at the same time — especially toilets, tubs, and floor drains — it usually points to a blockage or damage in the main sewer line, not individual fixture clogs.

  • Unusually Lush Lawn Patches

An area of grass that's noticeably greener or grows faster than the rest of the yard may be feeding on a slow sewer leak below the surface. It looks nice until it becomes a much bigger problem.

What We Do

Full-Scope Sewer Line Services

Done handles sewer problems at every level of severity — from a simple camera inspection to complete line replacement.

  • Sewer Camera Inspection Our push-camera inspections locate blockages, root intrusions, cracks, bellies, and pipe deterioration with precision. You see the footage with us and understand exactly what we found.
  • Root Cutting & Clearing Tree and shrub roots are among the most common sewer line problems in older Denver neighborhoods. We mechanically cut and clear root intrusions and can recommend long-term solutions to prevent regrowth.
  • Sewer Line Repair When a section of pipe is damaged but the rest of the line is sound, targeted repair is often the most cost-effective answer. We excavate only what's necessary and restore your yard as close to original as possible.
  • Sewer Line Replacement For lines that are collapsed, severely deteriorated, or beyond repair, full replacement is the right call. We offer traditional open-cut replacement and can discuss pipe lining options where the existing line qualifies.

Had an excellent experience with It's Done Plumbing and Jake the technician. He showed up early, gave me an accurate estimate and finished the job to my complete satisfaction. Will definitely use their services again. 9/08/21 Had another plumbing issue and call Done again. Superb service. Caleb and Dalton did a terrific job. Fast, thorough, clean and helpful. I won't even consider calling anyone else. 2/7/23 Jared from Done came and cleared a slow basement drain. Quick, professional and left no mess. Done is the only plumbing service I use. Always satisfied. 3/1/24 I was considering having a tankless hot water system installed. I reached out to Done! to see about an estimate. The price was higher than I can afford right now. The price is in line with what others are charging. I didn't have any ideas going in, so this is not a knock on Done! Tankless systems are expensive. I never felt any pressure from the tech. He was professional and courteous. 4/21/26 Decided to have a preemptive cable clean out due to some roots from a holly plant. We weren't having an issue, just decided to stay ahead of it. Jason was quick, courteous and efficient. A good experience. 6/24/26 The fixture in the shower failed internally. It wouldn't allow the water to shut off. Dan fixed it in less than an hour. Completely satisfied, as usual. Done is reliable and reasonably priced. What more could you ask from a company? 8/9/26 The washing machine drain hose empties into a PVC pipe that then empties into the main drain. There was a clog somewhere. Done Plumbing sent Matthew out to clear it. He succeeded quickly and completely. The price was less than I imagined it would be. Completely satisfied, as usual. 8/17/26 The previous issue with the washer drain stand pipe was more complicated than it seemed. Turns out, the cast iron pipe under the basement floor had degraded to the point where the water drained very slowly. Justin identified the most efficient approach, both in cost and in time, to repair the issue. The concrete work was done on a single day, with minimal disruption to my household. Justin was terrific from start to finish. He kept me informed every step of the way. Done has always treated me fairly and quickly solved my plumbing issues. Highly recommended. Justin is the man!

I have been meaning to write this review for a bit. I found out about Done when I was at my friend's house where her sewer line was being cleaned out. I was impressed with Chris the technician and told him I planned to have some water faucets replaced at my house, including the old cold water shutoffs. I requested him for that work and everything turned out well. He coordinated with the city I live in to get the main water turned on/off, etc. More recently, Sean came over to do a tune-up on my A/C system outdoors. The twenty-two year old fan was making noise and the breaker and dual capacitor were also replaced. He also checked general function. Both Chris and Sean were professional and no call backs were needed. Additional Service on 8-4-26: Darrell came by to do a hot water flush for their $99 Special and I appreciated his detailed and careful approach when flushing my older 50 gallon water heater. He also provided quotes if I should decide to replace it soon with another tank water heater or a tankless version. He related how the tankless water heater might be installed. I could tell that he was one of their more experienced Plumbers.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if my sewer line is broken or just clogged?

A single slow drain is usually a localized clog. When multiple fixtures back up at the same time, or you notice sewage odors and wet spots in your yard, those are signs of a deeper sewer line issue. The only way to know for certain is a camera inspection. Done can schedule one quickly so you’re not guessing.

Do you offer trenchless sewer repair?

In some cases, yes. Where the existing pipe is structurally intact enough to serve as a host, pipe lining can rehabilitate the line without major excavation. During the camera inspection we’ll tell you honestly whether your line qualifies for that method or whether open-cut repair or replacement is the better path.

Will my homeowner's insurance cover sewer line repair?

Standard homeowner’s insurance policies typically don’t cover sewer line repair or replacement — it’s usually considered a maintenance issue rather than a covered loss. Some policies include sewer backup coverage as a rider, and some utility companies offer service line protection programs. Check your policy details; we’re happy to provide documentation to support any claim you file.

How long does a sewer line replacement take?

A typical sewer line replacement in a standard Denver residential lot takes one to two days for the excavation and pipe work, plus time for permit inspection if required. We’ll give you a realistic timeline with your estimate so you can plan accordingly. Financing options are available if needed.
