Denver Trenchless Pipe Lining

Repair Your Pipes Without Digging Up Your Yard

Cracked, corroded, or root-damaged sewer lines don't always require excavation. Done's licensed plumbers offer trenchless pipe lining for Denver homeowners — call 833-539-9153.

Trenchless Pipe Lining

A New Pipe Inside Your Old One — No Trenches Required

When a sewer or drain line is cracked, corroded, or infiltrated by roots, the traditional fix meant tearing up your yard, driveway, or landscaping to reach the damaged section. Trenchless pipe lining changes that. We insert a flexible, resin-saturated liner into the existing pipe, inflate it against the pipe walls, and cure it in place — creating a smooth, seamless new pipe inside the old one. The result is a structurally sound line that resists root intrusion and corrosion, with a service life measured in decades.

Done has been solving sewer and drain problems for Denver homeowners since 1999. Pipe lining is one of several drain and sewer solutions we offer — and it’s often the most cost-effective option when excavation would mean disrupting landscaping, concrete, or finished surfaces above the damaged line.

  • Minimal Excavation In most cases, we need only one small access point to install the liner. Your yard, driveway, and landscaping stay intact — we work inside the existing pipe.
  • Faster Than Traditional Repair Most pipe lining jobs are completed in a single day. Compare that to conventional excavation and pipe replacement, which can take several days and leave your yard torn up for weeks.
  • Root-Resistant Liner The cured-in-place liner seals cracks and joints that tree roots exploit for entry. Once installed, the smooth interior surface gives roots nothing to grip.

Do You Need It

Signs Your Pipe May Need Lining

Pipe lining is a solution for damaged or deteriorating pipes — not just clogs. These are the signs that your sewer or drain line may have structural problems worth evaluating.

  • Persistent Root Intrusion

If tree roots have entered your sewer line once, they'll find their way back in through the same cracks unless those cracks are sealed. Pipe lining closes off the entry points for good.

  • Sewage Odors in the Yard

Unexplained wet spots, unusually lush patches of grass, or sewage smells outside can indicate a cracked or leaking sewer line releasing effluent into the soil.

  • Frequent Backups Despite Cleaning

If your sewer line is cleaned regularly but keeps backing up, the problem may be structural — a collapsed section, offset joint, or crack that cleaning can't fix.

  • Aging or Corroded Pipes

Older homes in Denver often have clay, Orangeburg, or cast iron sewer lines that have deteriorated over decades. Pipe lining can rehabilitate these lines without the cost and disruption of full replacement.

What We Line

Pipe Lining Applications

Trenchless lining works on a range of pipe sizes and materials. Here's where we commonly apply it in residential sewer and drain systems.

  • Sewer Lateral Lines The lateral line running from your home to the city sewer main is the most common candidate for trenchless lining — especially when it runs under a driveway, patio, or mature landscaping.
  • Under-Slab Drain Lines Drain lines embedded in your home's concrete slab are expensive to access through excavation. Trenchless lining often lets us repair them from above without touching the slab.
  • Long Pipe Runs Lining is particularly well-suited for long pipe sections where excavation would be extensive. We can line significant stretches of pipe in a single continuous application.
  • Spot Repairs When the damage is isolated to a short section — a single cracked joint or a small collapsed area — we can install a targeted liner patch instead of relining the entire run.

How It Works

The Pipe Lining Process

Every trenchless pipe lining job starts with a thorough inspection. We never line a pipe without knowing exactly what condition it's in.

  1. Camera Inspection and Assessment

We run a high-definition drain camera through the pipe to document the damage, measure the pipe diameter, and confirm lining is the right solution. We'll show you the footage and walk through what we found.

  2. Clean and Prep the Line

The existing pipe is cleared of debris, root material, and buildup — often using hydro jetting — so the liner bonds cleanly to the pipe wall without voids or gaps.

  3. Install and Cure the Liner

We insert the resin-saturated liner through an access point and inflate it against the pipe walls. The resin cures in place — using either ambient temperature, hot water, or UV light depending on the liner system — forming a rigid new pipe inside the old one.

  4. Final Inspection and Reinstatement

After curing, we run the camera one more time to inspect the finished liner, then restore any lateral connections that were covered during installation. The line is ready to use the same day.

Had an excellent experience with It's Done Plumbing and Jake the technician. He showed up early, gave me an accurate estimate and finished the job to my complete satisfaction. Will definitely use their services again.

9/08/21 Had another plumbing issue and call Done again. Superb service. Caleb and Dalton did a terrific job. Fast, thorough, clean and helpful. I won't even consider calling anyone else.

2/7/23 Jaered from Done came and cleared a slow basement drain. Quick, professional and left no mess. Done is the only plumbing service I use. Always satisfied.

3/1/24 I was considering having a tankless hot water system installed. I reached out to Done! to see about an estimate. The price was higher than I can afford right now. The price is in line with what others are charging. I didn't have any ideas going in, so this is not a knock on Done! Tankless systems are expensive. I never felt any pressure from the tech. He was professional and courteous.

4/21/26 Decided to have a preemptive cable clean out due to some roots from a holly plant. We weren't having an issue, just decided to stay ahead of it. Jason was quick, courteous and efficient. A good experience.

I had a shower leak, Josh with Done came out, we thought is was fixed. He had to come back out due to the issue being worse and tried again but the issue was actually worse compared to the pervious day. Nothing at all against Josh, I would welcome him back again I just think minimal experience with older facets caused missing something. Then Terry Ryan came out and instead of tearing into my walls as Josh recommend he took everything apart and looked it over himself. He believed he found the issue in a seating nut and changed that out first, put everything together and my shower works great. With no tearing into the wall. Thank you Terry for taking the time to look everything over and having the experience and seeing a possible issue.
I also had my main water shut off valve replaced, which Josh did a great job with.
I am not happy with Done dispatchers and ran into issues with them but the plumbers were great.

I called Done Plumbing after a referral from my property management office. Terry got out here very quickly, and was quite knowledgeable. I had contacted them because of a leak in my ceiling (I'm n a condo with someone above me). H was excellent at figuring out the problem due to his many years of experience in plumbing. After he discovered that the problem would have to be resolved by the other condo's owner, I asked f he could install my new kitchen sink faucet. He was able to install it right then, without having to pull the sink. (Two other guys had looked at it previously, were not able to do the istallation, and predicted the sink would have to be pulled.) Terry was able to install the faucet without pulling the sink. it was expensive, but much less so that the quote I was given by my HVAC maintenance company.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a pipe liner last?

Cured-in-place pipe liners are engineered for long service life — often 50 years or more under normal conditions, though actual longevity depends on pipe diameter, soil conditions, and what the line carries. The liner is jointless and smooth, which also reduces the risk of future root intrusion compared to a segmented replacement pipe.

Is trenchless pipe lining always possible?

Not always. Severely collapsed pipes, certain pipe diameters, and lines with very tight bends may not be candidates for lining. That’s why we start every job with a camera inspection — to confirm the pipe can be lined before we quote the work. If lining isn’t the right fit, we’ll tell you what is. Our sewer services page covers the full range of repair options we offer.

Will pipe lining reduce the size of my pipe?

The liner does add a small amount of thickness to the inside of the pipe — typically a few millimeters — which slightly reduces the interior diameter. In practice, this has little effect on flow capacity because the smooth liner surface actually improves flow compared to a corroded or root-roughened pipe interior.

Do I need to leave my house during pipe lining?

Usually not. The installation process doesn’t produce significant odors or hazards that would require you to vacate. However, the sewer line being worked on will be out of service during curing, so we coordinate the timing with you. Most jobs are complete and the line is back in service the same day. Check our financing options if cost is a consideration — this type of repair is often financeable.
