Trenchless Pipe Lining
When a sewer or drain line is cracked, corroded, or infiltrated by roots, the traditional fix meant tearing up your yard, driveway, or landscaping to reach the damaged section. Trenchless pipe lining changes that. We insert a flexible, resin-saturated liner into the existing pipe, inflate it against the pipe walls, and cure it in place — creating a smooth, seamless new pipe inside the old one. The result is a structurally sound line that resists root intrusion and corrosion, with a service life measured in decades.
Done has been solving sewer and drain problems for Denver homeowners since 1999. Pipe lining is one of several drain and sewer solutions we offer — and it’s often the most cost-effective option when excavation would mean disrupting landscaping, concrete, or finished surfaces above the damaged line.
Do You Need It
Pipe lining is a solution for damaged or deteriorating pipes — not just clogs. These are the signs that your sewer or drain line may have structural problems worth evaluating.
If tree roots have entered your sewer line once, they'll find their way back in through the same cracks unless those cracks are sealed. Pipe lining closes off the entry points for good.
Unexplained wet spots, unusually lush patches of grass, or sewage smells outside can indicate a cracked or leaking sewer line releasing effluent into the soil.
If your sewer line is cleaned regularly but keeps backing up, the problem may be structural — a collapsed section, offset joint, or crack that cleaning can't fix.
Older homes in Denver often have clay, Orangeburg, or cast iron sewer lines that have deteriorated over decades. Pipe lining can rehabilitate these lines without the cost and disruption of full replacement.
What We Line
Trenchless lining works on a range of pipe sizes and materials. Here's where we commonly apply it in residential sewer and drain systems.
How It Works
Every trenchless pipe lining job starts with a thorough inspection. We never line a pipe without knowing exactly what condition it's in.
We run a high-definition drain camera through the pipe to document the damage, measure the pipe diameter, and confirm lining is the right solution. We'll show you the footage and walk through what we found.
The existing pipe is cleared of debris, root material, and buildup — often using hydro jetting — so the liner bonds cleanly to the pipe wall without voids or gaps.
We insert the resin-saturated liner through an access point and inflate it against the pipe walls. The resin cures in place — using either ambient temperature, hot water, or UV light depending on the liner system — forming a rigid new pipe inside the old one.
After curing, we run the camera one more time to inspect the finished liner, then restore any lateral connections that were covered during installation. The line is ready to use the same day.

Cured-in-place pipe liners are engineered for long service life — often 50 years or more under normal conditions, though actual longevity depends on pipe diameter, soil conditions, and what the line carries. The liner is jointless and smooth, which also reduces the risk of future root intrusion compared to a segmented replacement pipe.
Not always. Severely collapsed pipes, certain pipe diameters, and lines with very tight bends may not be candidates for lining. That’s why we start every job with a camera inspection — to confirm the pipe can be lined before we quote the work. If lining isn’t the right fit, we’ll tell you what is. Our sewer services page covers the full range of repair options we offer.
The liner does add a small amount of thickness to the inside of the pipe — typically a few millimeters — which slightly reduces the interior diameter. In practice, this has little effect on flow capacity because the smooth liner surface actually improves flow compared to a corroded or root-roughened pipe interior.
Usually not. The installation process doesn’t produce significant odors or hazards that would require you to vacate. However, the sewer line being worked on will be out of service during curing, so we coordinate the timing with you. Most jobs are complete and the line is back in service the same day. Check our financing options if cost is a consideration — this type of repair is often financeable.
