How do I know if my toilet tank is leaking?

A leaky toilet can waste a thousand gallons of water a year! It can also dramatically increase your water bills.

1. Add a few drops of food coloring to your flush tank. Don’t flush. Leave the toilet for at least 20 minutes.
2. If the color appears in the bowl, you know you have a leak.
