Done serves the greater Denver and Front Range metro area, and in most cases we can schedule service within one to two business days for non-emergency work. For urgent situations — a heating system that’s stopped working in winter, an active leak, or a drain that’s completely backed up — our emergency lines are staffed around the clock and we prioritize same-day or next-available dispatch for those calls. Availability varies by season and current call volume, so calling early in the day generally gives you the best chance of a same-day appointment.
Our Service Area Across the Front Range
Done’s technicians serve Denver and the surrounding communities throughout the metro area. Our service area spans from communities along the northern Front Range south through the Denver metro and into the southern suburbs. If you’re not certain whether we cover your neighborhood, the easiest check is to call us or use our website — we’ll confirm coverage quickly and give you accurate scheduling information for your specific address.
We are a multi-trade company, which matters for scheduling. One call can get you an HVAC technician, a plumber, and an electrician if you need multiple trades addressed. You don’t have to coordinate three different companies and three separate appointment windows — we handle all of it.
What Affects How Fast We Can Get to You
A few factors influence scheduling speed on any given day:
- Emergency vs. routine: Emergency calls — active leaks, no heat in winter, electrical hazards — are always dispatched ahead of routine appointments. If your situation is urgent, say so when you call.
- Season: Late spring and early summer (AC tune-up season) and the first hard cold snap of fall (furnace calls) are our busiest periods. Scheduling a week or two ahead during peak seasons gets you a better window.
- Time of call: Calls placed early in the morning are most likely to result in a same-day appointment, since the day’s schedule is still forming. Afternoon calls often end up on the next day’s schedule.
- Trade needed: HVAC, plumbing, and electrical teams are dispatched separately. If you need a specific trade, let us know upfront so the right technician is assigned.
For Emergencies: What to Expect
Our emergency lines are answered 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. When you call with an emergency — a burst pipe, no heat during a cold snap, an electrical hazard, or a sewer backup — our dispatcher collects the details and gets a technician headed your way as quickly as the schedule allows. In most cases, a technician is on the way within one to two hours for active emergencies in our core service area. We will give you an estimated arrival window when you call and update you if anything changes.
Colorado winters in particular require fast emergency response. A furnace that goes out when overnight temperatures are forecast to drop well below zero is a genuine safety issue, not just an inconvenience — and we treat it that way. Similarly, a burst pipe from a freeze event needs to be addressed before significant structural water damage accumulates.
Maintenance Members Get Priority Scheduling
If you’re a Care Club member, you receive priority scheduling — meaning your call moves ahead of non-member calls for available appointment slots. During peak periods when our schedule is tight, that priority can make a meaningful difference in how quickly we can get to you. Members also receive annual tune-ups as part of the plan, which reduces the likelihood of unexpected breakdowns in the first place.
