Very happy today with my service from Done! Technician Josh came to my apartment today to clear a clog in my kitchen sink. Even though the job proved a little more difficult than initially expected, Josh was quick and clean and overall very pleasant. It was cool to see him work and he explained a lot about what he was doing and how the plumbing works in my building. I definitely appreciated his knowledge and advice and would recommend him to anyone needing a pain free declog.

Austin is a carimg competent young man and does very thourogh work on his plumbing jobs. He first came to our home to fix issues with stems in our bathtub and installed a great stem for our water control in the shower that can control how hot you want to allow the water to get directly from the control handle on the tub. He was able to help diagnose and fix temporarily at least if not long term a leak coming from the bathtub to the main floor kitchen. He also was able to fix our whole house water contour valve from the inside and put on a slick easy shutoff handle instead of the oldstyle turnknob. He also told us how to fix the hole he had to cut in the drywall with an access panel.
Every Question I had he was willing to answer and not rush through the process. He inspected a floor drain in the basement and suggested a full drain clean to make it drain better and also a natural product that can help drains continue working, rather than using harsh chemicals like liquid plumber.
He arrived about 9:30 in the morning a half an hour before the 10-noon window they give. Originally we started with two jobs that we needed done but through education and very thoughtful caring advice we wound up doing two more jobs and get a great new product to keep all our drains running well. He also saved us from having to do one job with an. Innovative simple fix of our bathtub drain to stop the leak spoken about earlier. Austin stayed till about 5:30 making sure all our plumbing needs were done and that we were completely satisfied with his work. He did not mind my watching some of the work being done and always explained how he planned to fix the issue and after finishing each job was done just as he explained. Again he is a younger man who really wants to provide customer service over and above with good listening skills, good communication skills and a desire to do the job like he would do it for his own family.
Since our first experience we specifically requested Austin to come back and do some more work for us on 6/7/18.
Again he came very proffesional cordial like a friend you have known for years.
We had one main job to hook up a water line to our new refrigerator that makes ice and delivers drinking water. Austin inspected to options to set up the line and asked how I wanted to do the job. We chose to go from our kitchen sink and he redid the configuration of the hoses and pipes to the dishwasher, hot and cold water supply and then the new water line to the fridge. He was able to drill through one set of cabinets to reach the fridge. This looked so professional nice neat cuts no lines to long to make it look sloppy just very well done. He adjusted the line to the dishwasher while doing the job as well as hot and cold lines changing the shutoff valves for each line to either be on or off like a handle instead of the oldstyle turnknob that had been on them before. He always ask what your preference is on the way he can fix the problem like how do you want the shutoff valve for each line he worked on. We discussed a replacement of a smaller standard toliet with a ADA approved toliet that is higher. He was willing to let me go get a toliet and the wax seal but explained the difference with thiers compared to Lowes or Home Depot. He did not put down the toliets at thise stores but explained hiw we could benefit using a superior product. It took a coupke extra hours to run to the shop and get the toliet but he never complained ir said I have another job to get abd made me feel our job was his priority until it was done and done right (no pun intended).
The toliet is great and after seeing how bad the wax seal was on the other toliet it us kind of amazing that we did not have leaking issues plus the old toliet was on quite loose making it that much more likely to leak.
All said the toliet is beautiful a low flow style installed very solidly with a great slow close seat. The dishwasher ran like it did when it was new.
Overall another outstanding job done by Austin who I hope has a long career with Done plumbing.
